Let me just start by saying that this is a fantastic movie, it’s a romantic comedy with slapstick humor and witty conversations . The pace of the movie is fast but enough to keep you involved. It has a lot of depth, apart from football it has another story running in the background and both stories make sense at the end, keeping you at the edge.
The cast is fantastic: George Clooney (Jimmy “Dodge” Connelly), Renee Zellweger (Lexie Littleton) and John Krasinski (Carter Rutherford).
The Movie is based on the world of 1920s football where entire pro football league is in danger of collapsing. “Dodge” is the captain of the ‘Bulldogs’ and is trying to save the team from its fate, he recruits the young ‘hotshot’ Carter Rutherford who also is a national war hero of WWI and single-handedly captured a platoon of German soldiers. But has a secret no one knows. Lexie Littleton is assigned to cover the “real story” .The plot turns interesting when both men fall head over heels for the sensuous reporter. Only one will win her heart. Who would that be???
