Driving Miss Daisy

Laziness is the oldest beauty of life which is dying, save it.

I avoided this movie for almost a year because I thought it was to simple and oldish. And I truly regret now about my decision because it’s a movie which you can enjoy like a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Now about movie,I still can hear Mr.Morgan calling “Miss Daisy” in his unique style same it is true for Miss Daisy itself who is so arrogant with his driver but eventually find friendship with this old black driver. So simple as a story of friendship between a Old Jew Lady and his Black Driver.

It’s a movie for friendship, when we sometime restrict someone from our life but sometime it becomes our life itself.Morgan Freeman and the late Jessica Tandy give brilliant performances in the lead roles, and they’ve never been better.Miss Daisy produce humor at will by her comments on her chauffeur and chauffeur’s reply makes situation full of enjoyment.

Check out some funny conversation between two:-

Daisy Werthan: Did you have the air-conditioning checked? I told you to have the air-conditioning checked.
Hoke Colburn: I had the air-conditioning checked. I don’t know what for. You never allow me to turn it on.
Daisy Werthan: Hush up!

Two traffic cops who’d stopped Hoke merely for driving a nice car watch him drive off with Daisy. “An old nigger and an old Jew woman taking off down the road together,” one cop says to the other. “That is one sorry sight.”

Winner of 4 Academy Awards including Best Picture of 1989 and including best acctress for Jessica Tandy.

Give it a try and You will never forget Miss Daisy and her Chauffeur.
